Tamrah News Desk | 20 October 2026

The Tiger Shroff firing in Mumbai’s Juhu area on 18 October 2026 drew a responsibility claim from individuals who say they belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, according to The Daily Pioneer. The same outlet said police have not independently confirmed the claim. The actor was not hurt.

What Happened in the Tiger Shroff Firing

Deccan Herald reported that three unidentified men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire near Pushpa Park in Juhu on Sunday evening. The outlet said Shroff escaped unhurt and that senior police officers rushed to the spot.

Reports differ on the target. Brut India said the shots were fired at the actor’s BMW, and The Daily Pioneer also described the attack as firing at his car. Deccan Herald’s report said the men fired at the actor himself.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claim and the Salman Khan Warning

The Daily Pioneer said a purported social media post attributed to Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu claimed the attack and alleged that Shroff had ignored earlier warnings. The post also reportedly warned that people working with Salman Khan could be targeted next.

Brut India reported that messages carrying the same names surfaced after the incident and that police are verifying them. The Daily Pioneer said investigators are also checking whether the shooters have any real link to the gang.

Arrests Reported in Kota

According to Brut India, three men accused of firing at Shroff’s car were arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, on 19 October, citing reports published that day. The outlet said the claims remain under investigation. The sources reviewed did not include a direct Mumbai Police statement on the arrests.

Will the Tiger Shroff Firing Claim Be Verified?

That depends on the Mumbai Police investigation. The Daily Pioneer reported that officers are examining the circumstances of the attack and the authenticity of the post. No official finding on the gang’s role had been published in the coverage reviewed.

Earlier Bishnoi Gang Cases in Mumbai

Deccan Herald noted that former minister Baba Siddique was shot dead in Bandra East on 12 October 2024 by members of the same gang, and that 27 arrested people have been chargesheeted. The Guardian reported in April 2024 that two men on a motorbike fired at Salman Khan’s Bandra apartment, and that two suspects were arrested in Gujarat. The Guardian added that the gang’s jailed leader had earlier threatened to kill Khan.

This case should not be confused with an unrelated April 2025 incident. PTI reported that Mumbai Police arrested a Punjab man for falsely telling the control room that a contract had been issued to kill Shroff.

Why the Juhu Firing Matters for Bollywood Security

The attack has raised fresh questions about the safety of film personalities in Mumbai. Brut India said the case has drawn attention to the gang’s alleged connection while the claims are still being examined.
